2 Old Terrorist Hideouts Busted in Kulgam Forest no Security forces on Monday carried out a successful joint Search and Destroy Operation in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, leading to the busting of multiple old terrorist hideouts. A top police officer, the operation was launched jointly by JK Police and 9 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in the Nengripora forest area of D.H. Pora. During the search, terrorist hideout was busted, from which a gas cylinder and a camouflage uniform were recovered. other old hideouts were traced and subsequently busted between Ahmadabad and Nengripora forest areas,” the official said. The recoveries indicate past terrorist activity in the area. The security forces have intensified searches to ensure the area is fully sanitized.
