The Israel–India Business Summit, held on 20 November 2025 at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv, brought together senior Industry leaders, and leading business organizations from both countries to advance bilateral economic cooperation. High-level participation included: • Hon. Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry • Hon. Nir Barkat, Israel’s Minister of Economy and Industry • H.E. J.P. Singh, India’s Ambassador to Israel The event was organized under the leadership of the Foreign Trade Administration of Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry, and hosted a large reciprocal Indian delegation of around 100 participants—a follow-up to the Israeli delegation to India earlier this year led by Minister Nir Barkat. Major economic bodies delivered greetings, including the Israel Export Institute, Manufacturers’ Association of Israel, Federation of Israeli chambers of Commerce and the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce, from the israeli side and CII and FICCI from the indian side, reflecting strong institutional support for strengthening economic ties. The summit featured strategic economic briefings: • Israel’s economic resilience and opportunities, presented by Prof. Avi Simhon, Head of Israel’s National Economic Council • Investment opportunities in India, presented by Mr. Gaurav Sishodia of Invest India A central highlight was the panel “From Experience to Impact: India–Israel Partnership Insights,” where leading Indian and Israeli business executives shared practical insights from working together. The panel was moderated by Ms. Ofir Amami, Head of the Israeli Economic and Trade Mission in New Delhi. Another key event was the India–Israel CEO Forum convened, providing a high-level platform for major companies from both countries to set strategic priorities and deepen commercial cooperation. A major milestone of the summit was the signing of a Terms of Reference (ToR) by Ministers Goyal and Barkat, underscoring the mutual commitment to expanding economic engagement through a Free Trade Agreement.
