*New Delhi, 22nd November 2025*: Delhi Government has issued advisory for private offices in Delhi to operate at 50% on-site workforce capacity, with the remaining staff continuing to work from home, as a precautionary measure in accordance with the latest directions from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM).
Currently, GRAP Stage III restrictions are operational in Delhi. Hon’ble Environment Minister Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa emphasized, “Under GRAP III, the Delhi Government is proactively implementing pollution control measures with intensified focus on public health and air quality protection.”
The Hon’ble Chief Minister Rekha Gupta-led Delhi Government is closely monitoring the city’s ambient air quality situation and is committed to taking every necessary step to protect citizens, with a special focus on safeguarding vulnerable groups.
In addition, the government has already mandated staggered office timings for all offices under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Government of NCT of Delhi until February 2025, to further reduce vehicular pollution during peak hours. Offices under MCD will operate from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and GNCTD offices from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment to pollution control, the Hon’ble Minister said, “These restrictions are part of an intense implementation of pollution control measures. Delhi is acting with urgency and responsibility, setting an example for other neighbouring regions facing similar challenges.”
The Hon’ble minister further stated, “Over 2,000 enforcement personnel from multiple Delhi Government agencies are working around the clock to ensure effective compliance with all pollution control protocols.” He also informed that more than 1,200 inspections of construction sites and polluting industries have been conducted so far, resulting in over 200 show cause notices for observed non-compliance and 50 orders for immediate cessation of operations at offending sites.
Private offices are requested to widely communicate these protocols and ensure prompt, effective implementation in all subsidiary and branch locations.
Hon’ble Environment Minister Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa affirmed that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the government will continue to issue all required directions to tackle air pollution and minimize its impact. “Our priority is to ensure effective measures are implemented promptly to control pollution, while making sure that daily life for Delhi residents remains uninterrupted as possible,” he said.
