Exclusive Ground Zero Report on Army Jawan Injured as Encounter Underway in Chhatroo Area of J&K’s Kishtwar. Location-Kishtwar. An encounter is underway in the Kalaban forests of Naidgam Passerkote under Chhatru Sub-Division. In the initial exchange of fire, an Army jawan has been injured and shifted to hospital for treatment. The operation was launched early this morning based on specific intelligence inputs. The Army’s White Knight Corps has confirmed that contact has been established with the hiding terrorists and the gunfight is still active. Heavy deployment of security forces continues in the area. Official sources said that the injured soldier was immediately shifted to Udhampur Command hospital for treatment. His condition is being monitored. Security forces, including the Army and J&K Police, continue to maintain a tight cordon around the area as the encounter remains active. Walk through Raja Rehber Jamal from the spot.
