*Darjeeling Rural (Pokhrabong) Tea Garden Puja With Theme Of Waste Management And Tourism Pandal ,This Is 3rd Years And It Is Plastic Free Dugra Puja-CM Also Inaugurate Virtually* In Darjeeling hills we can't see the Big Pandal many during the Dugra Puja but is some places it is Made in which Pokhrabong which is one of the rural area and the Tea Garden Area of the hills it's surrounded with 9 Tea Garden and about the population around 40 Thousand. Out here from last 3 years Dugra puja is celebrating grandly and in Pandal. Which started from First Days of Puja and ended on 10th Days. Like every year they made the Pandal in Theme and this year also they made the Pandal in Theme that based on " Waste Management And Tourism " . The Statue of Maa Dugra Is Brough from Siliguri and even the Pandal making person was brought from siliguri and it was taken One Week to construct the Pandal. Maa Dugra Statue is brought from Siliguri and it have to cover around 100km and it take around 10 hours to reach the Spot and it brought through the Truck. Truck started from. Siliguri which passes through out the NH110 it reach Kurseong, Ghum, Sukai and than down to Pokhrabong. Whole 10 days the Bhandra is continue and every day around 700 peoples take it and all Meal is served in Non Plastic And this Dugra Puja is Plastic Free Puja. The whole cost come in between 15 lakh and this puja also get CM Puja Fund and rest is collected by the team public. And whole 1km Bazaar is decorated with light. In one sentence it can say this Pokhrabong Puja is one of the Best Puja of the Hills. *Byte of Organizer* We had enter to 3rd Year of celebration of Dugra Puja and every year we made the Pandal in Theme and this year we done in Tourism And Waste Management. We want to promote our place in Tourism Industry and we need to keep our place Clean and Green. *Byte of Local* From last 3 years we have not to go to see the dugra puja in Town area as we are celebrating in in our place and in Pandal by which we are very much happy.
