Assam Cotton University Students Face Scholarship Issues
Guwahati, Assam
Around 700 students at Cotton University are facing problems with hostel fee waivers and mobility grants. Out of 500 residents in Hostel Seven, only 124 have received hostel mess dues. Additionally, despite 70% of the university's students being eligible, only 361 have been awarded mobility grant scholarships. Students from approximately 12 departments were unable to register for the Assam State scholarship program. The situation has left many students without expected financial support.
