ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦੇ 350 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ 350 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਲਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ 350 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਖਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡਿਓ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ।ਇਸ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਰੋਪਣਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਿਟੀਕਲ ਕੇਅਰ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। 51 ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੈਨਾਤੀ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇ ਲਈ 17 ਆਰਜ਼ੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਤਾਲਪੁਰੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸੀਐੱਚਸੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਪੁਲੀਸ ਚੌਕੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਰੋਪੜ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕੀਰਤਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਪਗਰੇਡ ਕਰਕੇ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੂਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇ ਲਈ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 22 ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਬਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਹਪਸਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਸਕਣ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਟਰਾਲੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਆਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਮੱਲਮ ਪੱਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਲਾਈਫ਼ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਤੱਕ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਡਾਕਟਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ SGPC ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ。

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Hosts Convocation 2025; Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Graces the Ceremony as Chief Guest The Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) hosted its Convocation 2025, from October 15 to 17, marking a momentous occasion that honored the academic accomplishments and perseverance of its graduating students. The Convocation was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, PVSM, AVSM, and Mrs. Sarita Singh, President, Air Force Family Welfare Association. At the Convocation, a total of 3,104 degrees were awarded to the students, comprising 2,375 students from BE/BTech, 32 from BE-MBA, 82 from Ph.D., 175 from ME/MTech, 53 from M.Sc., 68 from MCA, 200 from MBA, 46 from MA (Psychology), 42 from BA/BBA/BSc and 31 from BA/BBA/BSc Hons. These degrees encompassed a wide range of disciplines and specializations offered in various fields, including Engineering, Sciences, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Liberal Arts. In his address, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh lauded TIET’s leadership in technological innovation and its contribution to nation-building through education. Reflecting on his experience in the Indian Air Force, he spoke about the values of service, discipline, and responsibility, urging students to pursue excellence with integrity and to dedicate their success to the betterment of society and the nation. Dr. Rajeev Ranjan Vederah, Chancellor, TIET, emphasized the institute’s commitment to innovation and academic excellence. “Thapar Institute has continued to evolve through its focus on research, student-centric learning, and the establishment of Centres of Excellence that strengthen its position as a leading research institution,” he said, encouraging graduates to uphold sincerity, perseverance, and credibility as lifelong virtues. In his address, Professor Padmakumar Nair, Vice Chancellor, TIET, congratulated the graduates, saying, “I commend all degree recipients on their successful academic journey and those who have received medals and awards for their outstanding performance.” He emphasized the importance of continuous learning with humility, compassionate reframing, and being a good human being first and foremost, while always striving to be an impactful professional. On the opening day of the Convocation, 44 students were honoured with medals/awards for their exceptional performance. This included 35 institute medals in recognition of exemplary academic achievements, and the following key medals/awards: President’s Medal: Mr. Chiranjiv Singh Malhi and Mr. Ishan Agarwal for achieving the highest CGPA in the BE/BTech final year. S. Ranbir Singh Gold Medal: Mr. Udit Munjal, as the All-Round Best Student for 2024-2025. Prof. V. Rajaraman Computer Science & Engineering Award: Mr. Chiranjiv Singh Malhi for securing the highest CGPA of 9.5 in BE Computer Science & Engineering. S. Ram S. Sidhu Memorial Medal: Mr. Namanbeer Maini was bestowed with the medal. Governor’s Medal: Ms. Mitali Bansal, Ms. Adya Singh, and Ms. Aditi bagged the Governor’s medal. खासपुर में गरीब महिला के घर में आग, लाखों का नुकसान, परिवार बेघर

Patran, Punjab:सुबह गांव खासपुर में ग़रीब के एक घर में अचानक आग लगने से अफरा-तफरी मच गई। आग इतनी भयंकर थी कि देखते ही देखते घर में रखा सारा घरेलू सामान और एक मोटरसाइकिल का अगला हिस्सा जल गया। गनीमत रही कि हादसे में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई। गांव खासपुर की रहने वाली रिंपी बेगम नामक महिला अपने दो बच्चों और सास के साथ घर में रह रही थी। शुक्रवार तड़के करीब पांच बजे अचानक घर में आग लग गई। पिंकी ने बताया कि जब वह अपने बच्चों के साथ सो रही थी, तभी अचानक कमरे में धुआं फैलने लगा। किसी तरह सभी घर से बाहर निकले और ग्रामीणों की मदद से आग बुझाने का प्रयास किया गया, परंतु आग से घर का काफी समान जलकर राख हो गया। पीड़ित रिंपी ने बताया कि आग लगने से तीन से चार लाख रुपए का नुकसान हो गया। उसका कहना है कि उसका पति दूसरी शादी कर विदेश में रह रहा है, और वह खुद मेहनत-मजदूरी कर अपने बच्चों का पालन-पोषण करती है। घटना की सूचना पर गांव के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और आग बुझाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन आग पर काबू पाने से पहले ही सब कुछ जल चुका था। फिलहाल आग लगने के कारणों का पता नहीं चल सका है। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन और सरकार से आर्थिक सहायता की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि गरीब महिला के पास अब कुछ भी नहीं बचा है, इसलिए सरकार को तुरंत सहायता राशि जारी कर परिवार को फिर से खड़ा होने में मदद करनी चाहिए।

Chandigarh, Chandigarh:हरियाणा के डीजीपी ओपी सिंह ने जारी किया एक और संदेश कहा कि मैं चाहूँगा कि आप समझें कि अहिंसक धरना, प्रदर्शन, जुलूस, रोष मार्च इत्यादि प्रजातंत्र की व्यवस्था हैं। लाठी-डंडा अंग्रेज़ों की भाषा थी। निरंकुश तंत्र था। शोषण में जुटे थे। लोगों के समूह को ख़तरनाक समझते थे। सबक़ सिखाने के लिए जलियाँवाला बाग कांड तक कर गए। युवा-बहुल स्वतंत्र भारत में बात-बात पर बल-प्रयोग कोई बुद्धि की बात नहीं है। ये हमारे नागरिक हैं। इन्हें नियम के अनुसार चलने के प्रेरित-प्रशिक्षित करना हमारा ही काम है। अच्छा होगा कि आप खेल-कूद एवं सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों के माध्यम से नियमित 'क्राउड होस्टिंग' करें। इससे आप युवाओं से जुड़ेंगे, उन्हें सही रास्ते चलने के लिए प्रेरित कर पायेंगे। इससे आपको भीड़ के संरचना और स्वभाव के बारे में भी फर्स्ट-हैंड पता चलता रहेगा। समाज में सकारात्मक प्रभाव रखने वाले लोगों से गठजोड़ बनेगा। व्यवस्था सुचारू रखने में सहायता मिलेगी। आपराधिक प्रवृत्ति के मतलब-परस्त लोग अपनी स्वार्थ-पूर्ति के लिए अक्सर इन प्रजातांत्रिक व्यवस्थाओं का दुरुपयोग करते हैं। लोगों को बहका कर तोड़ फोड़ और आगज़नी पर उतर आते हैं। कभी-कभी इनके तार दुश्मन देशों से भी जुड़े होते हैं। ऐसे असामाजिक तत्त्वों की पहचान करें। इनकी आपराधिक गतिविधियों को उजागर करें और इन्हें जेल से बाहर आने ही ना दें। मैंने निदेशक, पुलिस अकादमी को कहा है कि वे आपके लिए 'प्रोटेस्ट क्राउड मैनेजमेंट' पर एक शॉर्ट-टर्म कोर्स डिज़ाइन करें। इससे आप सीख पायेंगे कि 'क्राउड' और 'मॉब' में क्या फ़र्क़ है, कैसे एक उत्तेजित भीड़ को शांत किया जा सकता है। मैं चाहूँगा कि आप ये समझें कि सरकार एक तंत्र हैं जो लोगों द्वारा और लोगों के लिए बनाई गई है। आप इसका एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा हैं। पब्लिक डीलिंग में घमंड और बदजुबानी ना लायें। एप्रोच प्रॉब्लम-सॉल्विंग रखें। लोगों को शांत रखने के जुगत भिड़ायें। ये समझें कि आपका काम विधि अनुसार व्यवस्था बनाये रखनी है ताकि गरीबी, बेरोजगारी, अशिक्षा दूर करने और जन-कल्याण के अन्य कार्य में लगा तंत्र अपना काम निर्बाध करता रहे।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Pakistan violates ceasefire with airstrikes in Afghanistan; 6 killed, 7 injured Kabul [Afghanistan], October 18 (ANI): At least six people, including two children, were killed and seven others wounded in Afghanistan's southeastern Paktika province, marking Afghanistan's breach of the recent ceasefire agreement between the two neighbouring countries, Tolo News reported on Friday. According to Tolo News, citing sources, the airstrikes reportedly targeted residential areas in the Argun and Barmal districts of the country, causing significant civilian casualties. Among the injured are six women and one child. Following initial attacks, further airstrikes were launched moments later, striking civilian homes. However, details on casualties from this second round of strikes remain unconfirmed, as reported by Tolo News. Afghanistan is yet to issue an official response to the incident. These deadly strikes come amid a 48-hour ceasefire agreement between the two nations following days of intense cross-border clashes. Earlier, Pakistan also called for an extension of the ceasefire until the end of the ongoing Doha negotiations aimed at easing tensions and preventing cross-border violence. According to Tolo News, citing sources, the 48-hour ceasefire between Afghanistan and Pakistan was extended, at Pakistan's request, until the conclusion of the ongoing talks in Doha. Negotiations between the two sides are set to begin on Saturday. The Afghan delegation, led by its Defence Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, is expected to depart for Doha on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Pakistani delegation, comprising Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif and Army Chief Asim Munir, has already arrived in Doha for the talks, as reported by Tolo News. Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan's Foreign Office announced that a temporary ceasefire was reached with Afghanistan for the next 48 hours following days of intense cross-border clashes between the two sides. According to Pakistan's Foreign Office, "A temporary ceasefire has been decided between the Pakistani government and the Afghan Taliban regime, with the mutual consent of both parties, for the next 48 hours from 6 pm today, at the request of the Taliban." The statement added that "during this period, both sides will make sincere efforts to find a positive solution to this complex but solvable issue through constructive dialogue." Taliban regime spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid confirmed on X that Afghan forces had been instructed to respect the truce "unless any aggression takes place." (ANI)

Amritsar, Punjab:अमृतसर के शिवाला फाटक क्षेत्र में उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया जब एक सुनियारे की दुकान पर एक युवक ने सुनियारे पर गन तान दी। पूरी घटना दुकान पर लगे CCTV कैमरे में रिकॉर्ड हो गई, जिसमें साफ तौर पर देखा जा सकता है कि आरोपी सुनियारे के माथे पर पिस्तौल तानता है और गाली-गलौच करता है। घटना के बाद इलाके में दहशत फैल गई। पीड़ित सुनियारा विनय ने बताया कि उसका किसी लड़की से पैसों का लेन-देन था। लड़की खुद पैसे लौटाने के लिए दुकान पर आने वाली थी। लेकिन उसी दौरान लड़की का भाई अचानक दुकान पर आया और बिना किसी बातचीत के गाली-गलौच शुरू कर दी। माथे पर तानी गन विनय ने कहा, उसने मेरे माथे पर गन तान दी। अगर वो गन चल जाती, तो शायद मैं आज जिंदा नहीं होता। विनय ने बताया कि युवक जब दुकान से बाहर गया तो उस के बाद भी लगातार मां-बहन की गालियां देता रहा। डर के माहौल मैंने तुरंत दुकान बंद की और 112 पर कॉल कर पुलिस को सूचना दी। पीड़ित ने आरोपी की जल्द गिरफ्तारी की मांग की है。 CCTV फुटेज पुलिस ने जब्त किया, कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी मौके पर पहुंची एएसआई वर्षा सिंह ने बताया, हमें 112 नंबर पर कॉल मिली थी, जिस पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची। सीनियर अधिकारियों को सूचित कर दिया गया है और मामले की जांच जारी है। पुलिस ने CCTV फुटेज अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है और कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। स्थानीय लोगों में घटना को लेकर रोष है और व्यापारियों ने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत करने की मांग की है।

The 66-year-old, accused of orchestrating a Rs 13,000 crore fraud at Punjab National Bank (PNB), now has 15 days to appeal the ruling before Belgium's Supreme Court, delaying any immediate transfer. Choksi, arrested by Antwerp police on 11 April following a formal request from India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has languished in custody for over four months. His repeated bail applications were rebuffed, with the court deeming him a substantial flight risk. During Friday's hearing, Belgian prosecutors, representing New Delhi, clashed with Choksi's defence team. The judges ruled that the detention complied with legal standards, fulfilling the dual criminality requirement: offences like criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal breach of trust, destruction of evidence, and corruption—charged under IPC Sections 120B, 201, 409, 420, and 477A, alongside the Prevention of Corruption Act's Sections 7 and 13—are punishable under Belgian law. India bolstered its case by invoking international treaties, including the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organised Crime (UNTOC) and the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), both ratified by Belgium. CBI officials visited Antwerp thrice to furnish evidence, engaging a European law firm for support. Documentary proof detailed six bank frauds between 2018 and 2022, involving fraudulent Letters of Undertaking (LoUs) and Foreign Letters of Credit (FLCs) issued without margins, leading to PNB's Rs 6,344.97 crore payout in defaults, plus interest. A contentious issue was Choksi's citizenship. He claims to have renounced Indian nationality on 14 December 2018, after acquiring Antiguan citizenship in November 2017. India contests this, insisting he remains an Indian citizen and thus extraditable. To address humanitarian concerns, India's Ministry of Home Affairs assured humane detention in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, Barrack No. 12—meeting European Committee for the Prevention of Torture standards. Facilities include clean water, nutritious meals, newspapers, television, a private doctor, and no solitary confinement. The cell offers a clean cotton mat, pillow, bedsheet, blanket, and optional metal bed on medical grounds. Daily cleaning, fresh water, outdoor exercise, rest areas, and games like chess, carrom, and badminton were pledged, with high-security measures. Firozpur, Punjab:फिरोजपुर के कस्बा ममदोट के गांव कड़मे में एक घर में ज्यादा पोटाश रखने के कारण ब्लास्ट हुआ जिसमें घर की दो छत गिर गई और पति पत्नी इस हादसे में घायल हो गए, जिनका इलाज निजी अस्पताल में चल रहा है। डी एस पी करण शर्मा ने बताया कि परिवार ने घर में पोटाश रखा हुआ था जिससे ब्लास्ट हुआ; इससे आसपास के घरों को भी नुकसान हुआ है और पूरे मामले की जांच जारी है। गांव वासियों के अनुसार धमाके की आवाज दूर तक गई और पड़ोस के घरों को भी नुकसान पहुंचा। डी एस पी ने कहा कि घर में पोटाश रखना गैरकानूनी है, इस मामले की पूरी जांच हो रही है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Breaking पंजाब के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री सुखबीर बादल की याचिका पर हाईकोर्ट ने दिया फैसला साल 2017 में अखंड कीर्तनी जत्थे के राजिंदर पाल सिंह द्वारा सुखबीर बादल के खिलाफ दर्ज मानहानि की शिकायत का है मामला इसी के खिलाफ सुखबीर बादल ने हाईकोर्ट में दाखिल की हुई थी याचिका तब सुखबीर बादल ने बयान दिया था कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल अखंड कीर्तनी जत्थे और पंजाब के अलगाववादियों के घर नाश्ता कर रहे हैं, जिन्हें न पंथ के बारे में कुछ पता है और न पंजाब के बारे में इसी बयान को लेकर अखंड कीर्तनी जत्थे के राजिंदर पाल सिंह ने सुखबीर बादल के खिलाफ दर्ज करवा दी थी मानहानि की शिकायत साल 2020 में सुखबीर बादल के खिलाफ जब चंडीगढ़ की ट्रायल कोर्ट ने वारंट जारी किए थे, तब उन्होंने इस वारंट को हाईकोर्ट में दी थी चुनौती। दिसंबर 2020 को हाईकोर्ट ने वारंट के इन आदेशों पर रोक लगाते हुए शिकायतकर्ता को नोटिस जारी कर जवाब तलब किया था। तब से यह केस हाइकोर्ट में चल रहा था। पिछले कुछ दिनों से इस याचिका पर दोनों पक्षों के बीच चली लंबी बहस के बाद आज हाईकोर्ट ने इस याचिका पर अपना फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया था सुखबीर बादल ने अपनी याचिका में कहा था कि चंडीगढ़ की ट्रायल कोर्ट ने बिना सभी तथ्यों पर गौर कर ही इस शिकायत के आधार पर ही उनके खिलाफ वारंट जारी कर दिए। जबकि उनके खिलाफ दर्ज यह शिकायत ही पूरी तरह से निराधार है क्योंकि इस मामले में कही भी शिकायतकर्ता की मानहानि हुई ही नहीं है। बता दें कि जनवरी 2017 में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के पंजाब दौरे पर सुखबीर बादल ने बयान देते हुए कहा था कि केजरीवाल पंजाब में अतिवादियों से मिल रहे हैं और अखंड कीर्तनी जत्थे के साथ नाश्ता किया है, जोकि आतंकवादी संगठन बब्बर खालसा इंटरनेशनल का राजनैतिक फ्रंट है। उन्हें पंजाब की प्रकृति, परंपरा और पंथ के बारे में कुछ नहीं पता। भगवान न करे अगर पंजाब में आप पार्टी की सरकार आती है तो आप पार्टी यहां अराजकता फैला देगी। इसी को लेकर ही उनके खिलाफ मानहानि की शिकायत दर्ज करवाई गई थी। सुखबीर बादल का कहना था कि इस बयान में उन्होंने शिकायतकर्ता का नाम तक तक नहीं लिया है और वैसे भी उस समय वह पंजाब के गृह मंत्री भी थे और ऐसे में राज्य में कानून व्यवस्था को देखना उनकी जिम्मेदारी थी। चंडीगढ मे पंजाब एवं हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने शिरोमणि अकाली दल के प्रमुख और पंजाब के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री सुखबीर सिंह बादल को मानहान ि केस मे ं बड़ा झटका लगा है। पंजाब एवं हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने उनके खिलाफ दर्ज मामले को रद्द करने से इनकार कर दिया है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि प्राथमिक दृष्ट ि से मामला विचार योग्य है। इस लिए इस स्तर पर शिकायत खारिज नही ं की जा सकती। अब इस केस की सुनवाई निचली अदालत में होगी。 हाईकोर्ट के इस फैसले के बाद सुखबीर बादल को अब निचली अदालत मे ं मुकदम े का सामना करना होगा। वहां ट्रायल के दौरान यह तय होगा कि क्या उनका बयान मानहानिपूर्ण था या नहीं。

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:वरिंदर घुम्मन की मृत्यु के बाद जालंधर में परिवार और नागरिकों ने निकाली कैंडल मार्च जालंधर के मशहूर बॉडीबिल्डर वरिंदर घुम्मन की आकस्मिक मृत्यु के बाद आज उनके परिवार के साथ समाजिक संस्थाओं और राजनीतिक नेताओं ने जालंधर में एक कैंडल March आयोजित किया। इस दौरान वरिंदर घुम्मन के पिता, पत्नी और छोटे बच्चों भी मौजूद थे। उनके हाथों में बैनर था, जिस पर लिखा था: “We want Justice, लापरवाही या साजिश”. घुम्मन के पिता मीडिया के सामने भावुक होकर रोते हुए पूरी मीडिया से न्याय की गुहार लगाते नजर आए। उन्होंने बताया कि अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने कहा था कि ऑपरेशन सिर्फ आधे घंटे में पूरा हो जाएगा, लेकिन उनके बेटे की जान चली गई। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि अस्पताल ने परिवार को कुछ भी स्पष्ट जानकारी नहीं दी。 जानकारी के अनुसार, कुछ दिन पहले वरिंदर घुम्मन एक्सरसाइज करते समय अपने कंधे की नस में चोट लग गई थी। इसके बाद उनका ऑपरेशन करवाने के लिए वह अमृतसर फोटिस अस्पताल गए थे। लेकिन दुर्भाग्यवश, वह स्वस्थ होकर घर नहीं लौट सके उल्टा उनकी लाश अस्पताल से बाहर आई。 वरिंदर घुम्मन के परिवार ने अब न्याय की मांग को लेकर आवाज बुलंद की है और पूरे शहर में इंसाफ की गुहार लगाई है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Supreme Court upholds promotion of Chandigarh DSP Ram Gopal to SP rank Chandigarh , October 17: Chandigarh Police officer DSP Ram Gopal has received a major relief from the Supreme Court of India, which dismissed the Chandigarh Administration's petition challenging his promotion to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). With this, the administration is now bound to implement the orders of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and the Punjab and Haryana High Court, granting him the promotion along with all consequential benefits. While pronouncing the judgement, the Supreme Court observed that there was no irregularity in Ram Gopal's promotion process. It upheld the earlier findings of the CAT and the High Court, which had both validated the inquiry report and found the promotion legally sound. The order marks the end of a seven-year-long legal battle for DSP Ram Gopal, who had been fighting for his rightful elevation to the SP rank since 2017. The legal journey began when the Central Administrative Tribunal, on November 24, 2020, ruled in favour of Ram Gopal and directed the Chandigarh Administration to promote him within two months. The tribunal also ordered the administration to grant him all arrears of pay, seniority, and other consequential benefits. However, the administration challenged this decision before the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which also dismissed the plea and directed that the promotion be implemented within two weeks. Undeterred, the administration approached the Supreme Court in February 2021, seeking to overturn the previous rulings. After prolonged hearings, the Supreme Court finally dismissed the petition earlier this week, upholding the lower courts' orders and directing compliance with the promotion. Ram Gopal's fight for promotion dates back to 2017, when he applied for the SP post under the Chandigarh Administration's notified promotion policy. However, on December 17, 2018, the administration rejected his application, claiming that no sanctioned SP post was available for promotion from the DSP rank. Challenging the decision before the CAT set in motion a legal battle that ultimately concluded in the Supreme Court's favour for him. Ram Gopal was initially appointed as a direct Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in 1998 under the sports quota. Over the years, he rose through the ranks and was later promoted to the position of Inspector. His promotions, however, were repeatedly challenged by some sub-inspectors through departmental inquiries and court cases. Allegations of irregularities and forgery were also levelled against him, but a detailed inquiry by a senior IPS officer found all such charges baseless. With the Supreme Court's ruling now in his favour, the Chandigarh Administration is expected to promote Ram Gopal to the rank of Superintendent of Police, finally bringing closure to a prolonged and hard-fought legal struggle.
