CBI की कार्रवाई CBI ने निलंबित IPS अधिकारी हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर के खिलाफ आय से अधिक संपत्ति (Disproportionate Assets) का नया केस दर्ज किया है। भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक कानून के तहत केस दर्ज भुल्लर को पहले 5 लाख रुपए की रिश्वत लेते हुए गिरफ्तार किया गया था। तलाशी में 7.5 करोड़ नकद, 2.5 किलो सोना, 26 लग्जरी घड़ियां, 2 महंगी कारें, 100 लीटर शराब और 50 संपत्तियों के दस्तावेज़ बरामद हुए थे। अब CBI ने उनके खिलाफ आय के ज्ञात स्रोतों से अधिक संपत्ति अर्जित करने का मामला दर्ज किया है。 CBI has registered a case of disproportionate assets against the then-suspended IPS officer Harcharan Singh Bhullar. CBI had arrested Bhullar while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5 lakhs. However, during subsequent searches, CBI recovered Rs 7.5 crores cash, 2.5 kg gold jewellery, 26 luxury watches, high-end cars and documents of immovable assets. CBI has now registered a fresh case of disproportionate assets which involves acquiring assets beyond the known source of income.
