Amritsar Commissionerate Police busts a cross-border organised arms & narcotics smuggling module with links to #Pakistan and apprehends 3 operatives & recovers 10 sophisticated pistols along with 500 gm Opium. Preliminary investigation reveals that the arrested accused were running inter-district gang of smuggling and were connected to a #Pak based handler. The recovered arms were meant to be supplied to gangsters & criminals to fuel unlawful activities in Punjab. FIR has been registered at PS Sadar #Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to expose and dismantle the entire network, including its backward and forward linkages.
