Firozpur, Punjab:फिरोजपुर आरएसएस के संचालक दीना नाथ के पोते नवीन कुमार को अज्ञात बदमाशों ने गोली मारी, जिससे उनकी मौत हो गई. शहर में तनाव का माहौल बना. नाथ आरएसएस के जिला फिरोजपुर में संचालक हैं. अभी तक हमलावर कौन थे यह पता नहीं चल पाया. घटना स्थल पर पहुंचकर पुलिस मामले की जाँच कर रही है.

Nalhar, Haryana:फिरोजपुर झरका में आतंकी उमर का ATM में जाने का वीडियो दिल्ली में हुए ब्लास्ट मामले में जांच एजेंसियों ने नूंह के डेरा डाला हुआ है। केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसियों को शनिवार को नूंह जिले में एक अहम सफलता हाथ लगी है। नूंह जिले में जहां कई जगह आतंकी डॉ उमर की गतिविधियां देखी गई है, वहीं फिरोजपुर झिरका शहर के एक एटीएम से भी आतंकी पैसे निकालता हुआ दिखाई दे रहा है। करीब 5 मिनट के इस वीडियो में यह साफ दिखाई दे रहा है कि आतंकी अपनी i20 कार से उतरता है और शहर के एचडीएफसी एटीएम से पैसे निकालने का प्रयास करता है। जानकारी के मुताबिक जिस दिन दिल्ली में ब्लास्ट हुआ उसी दिन आतंकी डॉक्टर उमर नूंह से i20 कार लेकर निकला था। डॉ उमर की यही कार फिरोजपुर झिरका एरिया में दिल्ली-मुंबई-वडोदरा एक्सप्रेसवे पर एक टोल प्लाजा के सीसीटीवी में कैद हो चुकी थी, जिससे उसकी आवाजाही का पैटर्न साफ हो रहा है। अब उसी एरिया का एक और सीसीटीवी वीडियो सामने आया है। जिसमें सफेद रंग की i20 कार साफ दिखाई दे रही है। यह सीसीटीवी वीडियो फिरोजपुर झिरका शहर के बीवां रोड का हैं। जहां लगे HDFC बैंक के एटीएम में आतंकी डॉक्टर उमर पैसे निकालने के लिए आया था। आतंकी डॉक्टर उमर की गाड़ी 9 नवंबर की रात 01:01 मिनट पर एटीएम मशीन के बाहर रुकती है। उमर गाड़ी से उतरकर पहले चेहरे को मास्क से ढकता है और बाद में एटीएम मशीन के अंदर पैसे निकालने का प्रयास करता है। करीब 4 मिनट तक उमर एटीएम मशीन के अंदर ही रहता है और पैसे निकालने का प्रयास करता है। लेकिन एटीएम मशीन में पैसे नहीं होने से वह वहां मौजूद गार्ड से बात करने लगता है। सूत्रों की माने तो उमर ने एटीएम पर तैनात गार्ड से 50- 60 हजार रुपये निकलवाने की बात कही। लेकिन गार्ड ने एटीएम मशीन में पैसे नहीं होने की बात कही । जिसके बाद उमर ने गार्ड को लालच दिया कि वह किसी अन्य एटीएम मशीन से पैसे निकालवादों तो उसे 5 हजार रुपए लालच दिया। इस पर गार्ड आतंकी डॉक्टर उमर की गाड़ी में बैठ गया और शहर की तरफ अन्य एटीएम मशीनों से पैसे निकलवा दिए। करीब 20 मिनट बाद यानी 1:24 मिनट पर आतंकी उमर फिर से अपनी i20 कार लेकर एटीएम मशीन पर आया और गाड़ी में सवार गार्ड को वहीं छोड़ दिया। जिसके बाद वह दिल्ली मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे से होते हुए दिल्ली की और निकल गया। फिर करीब 10 मिनट बाद उसकी गाड़ी टोल प्लाजा से गुजरती हुई दिखाई दी।

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh:हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू 17 नवंबर को सूरजकुंड में आयोजित होने वाली उत्तर क्षेत्रीय परिषद की बैठक में हिस्सा लेंगे. इस उच्चस्तरीय बैठक की अध्यक्षता केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह करेंगे. इस बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री अपने पड़ोसी राज्यों के साथ सीमा विवाद, नशा तस्करी पर संयुक्त रणनीति और बीबीएमबी में स्थायी सदस्यता और चार हज़ार करोड़ के एरियर जैसे लंबित मामलों को उठायेंगे. बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री चंडीगढ़ पर हिमाचल के 7.19 फ़ीसदी अधिकार की बात भी उठाने वाले हैं. इन सभी मुद्दों को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री पहले से ही मुखर रहे हैं. इस बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री के साथ मुख्य सचिव संजय गुप्ता, मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव राकेश कंवर समेत अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी बैठक में शामिल होंगे. बैठक के बाद मुख्यमंत्री 18 नवंबर को शिमला लौटेंगे.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:"All possibilities are on table": Piyush Goyal expresses optimism on India-Canada FTA Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], November 15: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that India and Canada have held two rounds for the resumption of Free Trade Agreement negotiations, adding that all possibilities are on the table. Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, jointly hosted by Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Goyal said, all possibilities are on the table. We have had two rounds of discussions now. We met in Delhi for the high-level ministerial meeting. We met briefly today to also discuss the way forward to strengthen our bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership. Two countries are looking at resumption of trade after a years-long diplomatic tussle linked to the killing of a Canadian Sikh activist. On November 14, India and Canada reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral economic cooperation as Goyal and Canada's Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development Maninder Sidhu convened the 7th Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment (MDTI). The dialogue also built on the October 13 joint statement by the Foreign Ministers, which underscored trade as the cornerstone of India-Canada economic ties. Both ministers have expressed satisfaction with the strong growth in bilateral trade, which reached USD 23.66 billion in 2024, including USD 8.98 billion in merchandise trade, reflecting a 10 per cent increase compared to the previous year. The leaders also reviewed ongoing global supply chain disruptions and agreed on the need for greater resilience, particularly in agriculture. They stressed the importance of diversified and reliable supply chains to ensure sustained economic stability. Both sides welcomed the progress achieved so far and pledged to maintain momentum in their bilateral engagement. They also emphasised the importance of strong people-to-people ties in further strengthening the partnership. India and Canada are expected to continue ministerial-level discussions with trade and investment stakeholders early next year. The meeting concluded with both ministers acknowledging the constructive nature of the talks and committing to remain closely engaged on forthcoming initiatives. Goyal also highlighted India's growing global outreach, saying the country's diplomatic and economic engagements reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "the world is one family." "I'm grateful to many ministers from across the world who joined us today. Almost every continent was represented," he said. "We had ministers from North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. The entire globe was represented at this partnership summit, demonstrating India as a friend of humanity."

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Amit Shah to chair 32nd Northern Zonal Council meeting in Faridabad on November 17 (ANI): union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair the 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council on November 17 in Haryana's Faridabad to discuss India wide range of issues, including water sharing, reorganisation of states, development of infrastructure, land acquisition, and environmental and forest-related clearance. Besides, regional connectivity under the UDAN scheme and other issues of common interest at the regional level are learnt to be discussed in the meeting to be attended by the Chief Ministers along with two senior ministers from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and the Lieutenant Governors and administrators of Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh. The matters linked to the Bhakra-Beas Management Board, affiliation with Punjab University, road construction work under the PMGSY, and canal projects discussed in the 31st meeting of the Northern Zonal Council appear to have been reviewed in the meeting. Many issues of national importance are also discussed in the meeting. These include operationalization of Fast Track Special Courts (FSTC) for speedy investigation and speedy disposal of rape cases against women and children, facility of banks and India Post Payment Bank branches within 5 km of each village, creation of two lakh new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACSs) in the country, eliminating malnutrition among children through nutrition campaign, reducing the drop-out rate of school children, participation of government hospitals in Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojana (AB PM-JAY) and other issues of common interest at the national level. One good practice from each state and the Union Territory selected by the Standing Committee will also be presented by the member states and the UTs in the meeting. The meeting is being organised by the Inter-State Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Government of Haryana. The Chief Secretaries and other senior officers of the state governments and UTs, and senior officers of the Central government, will also participate in the meeting. Since June 2014, more than 50 meetings of various Zonal Councils have been held. Five Zonal Councils were established in 1957 under Section 15-22 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956. The Union Home Minister is the Chairman of these five Zonal Councils while the Chief Ministers of the states and the administrators and Lieutenant Governors of the UTs included in the respective Zonal Council are its members. One of these members is designated as the Vice-Chairman by rotation each year. The Governor nominates two more ministers from each state as members of the council. Each Zonal Council has also constituted a Standing Committee at the level of Chief Secretaries. Zonal Councils provide a platform to enhance cooperation through a systematic mechanism for regular dialogue and discussion on issues affecting two or more states or the Centre and the states. Zonal Councils play an advisory role, but over the years, these councils have evolved into an important mechanism for promoting mutual understanding and cooperation across various fields.

Ludhiana, Punjab:ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ PSPCL ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਰਬਨ ਇੰਫਰਾਸਟਰਕਚਰ ਮੇਕ-ਓਵਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਘੂਮਰ ਮੰਡੀ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਨਾਲ ਲਟਕਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਾਤਮਾ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਵਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦਾ ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ,ਪਾਵਰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਪਾਵਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ (PSPCL) ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਾਕਾਂਖੀ ਪਾਵਰ ਲਾਈਨ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਮੇਕ-ਓਵਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਘੂਮਰ ਮੰਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਈਟ ਤੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਪਾਵਰ ਇਨਫਰਾਸਟਰਕਚਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ, ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੇਂ ਯੁੱਗ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ。 ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਓਵਰਹੈੱਡ ਪਾਵਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦਾ ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਖ਼ਤਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਘਟਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਥਿਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ。 “ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ,ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ,” ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ。 ਇਹ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਸਿਟੀ ਵੈਸਟ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਸਬ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ 25 ਫੀਡਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਟੈਂਡਰ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਨਕ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਾਇਲਟ ਚਰਨ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਮਾਡਲ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ 86 ਸਬ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਸ਼ ਕੇਬਲ, ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਫਾਈਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੈਰ-PSPCL ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਜ਼ ਵਿਜੁਅਲ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਲਟ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪਛਾਣ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਥੱਲੇ ਲਟਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਉਚਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਰੋਕੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ। ਕਈ ਜੋੜਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕੰਡਕਟਰ ਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਉਟੇਜ, ਵੋਲਟੇਜ ਫਲਕਚੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਮੀਟਰ ਬਾਕਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣੇਗੀ।“ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਲਟਕਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਕਰੀਬ-ਕਰੀਬ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਫਾਲਟ ਦਾ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸਪਲਾਈ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਘਟਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਟਰਿੰਗ ਇੰਫਰਾਸਟਰਕਚਰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ,” ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਪਾਸ ਲਟਕਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ—ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਥਿਤ ਦਿਖਣਗੀਆਂ。 ਜਾਇਜ਼ੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚੀਫ਼ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਹੰਸ, ਸੁਪਰਿੰਟੈਂਡੈਂਟ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ, XEN ਗੁਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ, SDO BSNL ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਟਕਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ—ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਥਿਤ ਦਿਖਣਗੀਆਂ。
