प्रवीर रणजान IPS CISF के नए DG बनकर पद संभालेंगे
Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Press release Sh. Praveer Ranjan, IPS took over the charge of Director General, CISF Sh. Praveer Ranjan, IPS, assumed charge as Director General, CISF on 30.09.2025. An officer of the 1993 batch of the Indian Police Service from the AGMUT Cadre, he has been on Central Deputation since April 2024. Prior to his appointment as Director General, CISF, he served as Special Director General, heading the sensitive Airport Security sector of the Force. Academically accomplished, Sh. Ranjan holds a Postgraduate degree in History from Delhi University, a Master’s in Police Management from Osmania University, a Master’s in Public Management from the National University of Singapore & Harvard University, and an LL.M. from the National Law University, New Delhi. In a distinguished career spanning 32 years, he has held several key positions, including Special CP/Crime & EOW, Delhi Police; DIG, CBI; and Director General of Police, Chandigarh (19.08.2022 to 15.03.2024), before joining CISF as ADG, CISF on Central Deputation. Sh. Ranjan, a recipient of the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (2016) and the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service (2009), is the 32nd Director General of CISF. During an in-house ceremony at CISF lawns, he was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour at CISF Headquarters and later interacted with senior officers of the Force. In his address, the DG underlined his commitment “to prepare the Force for future challenges through modernization in operations, welfare with compassion and transparency in administration”. He also reiterated the commitment to implement the directions of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Ministry of Home Affairs on priority to achieve the national objectives. With his rich experience in policing and national security, coupled with his strong academic background, CISF under the leadership of Sh. Praveer Ranjan is poised to scale new heights in securing the nation’s vital installations and achieving new milestones in its journey.0

बिहार भवन निर्माण लिमिटेड के ठिकानों पर छापेमारी, आय से अधिक संपत्ति का आरोप
Hajipur, Bihar:आर्थिक अपराधिकारी ने कमलेश कुमार महाप्रबंधक तकनीकी बिहार राज्य भवन निर्माण लिमिटेड के कई ठिकानों पर छापेमारी। छापेमारी करप्शन और आय से अधिक संपत्ति मामले को लेकर शुरू किया गया है। इस पूरे मामले में EOU एजेंसी ने कल देर शाम एक मामला दर्ज किया था जिसमें 3 करोड़ 12 लख रुपए से अधिक के आय से अधिक संपत्ति का मामला दर्ज किया गया। EOU की विशेष टीम आज उनके वैशाली, एसके पुरी पटना के साथ-साथ कई ठिकाने पर छापेमारी कर रही है कुल चार ठिकाने पर छापेमारी चल रही है और लगभग two दर्जन से अधिक अधिकारियों को लगाया गया है कई टीम छापेमारी में लगी हुई है और आर्थिक अपराध इकाई डीएसपी ने बताया कि उनकी यहां छापेमारी हुई है कुछ बरामद किए गए हैं और पांच स्थानों पर छापेमारी चल रही है। इनके खिलाफ 3 करोड़ से अधिक के आय से अधिक संपत्ति का मामला दर्ज किया गया था इसके साथ-साथ उनके पैतृक आवास इनकी कार्यालय पर भी छापेमारी चल रही है।0

Srinagar, Uttarakhand:The ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly session has come under criticism from All Party Sikh Coordination Committee Chairman and senior political leader Jagmohan Singh Raina, who alleged that the House is spending more time on political confrontations and Jammu-versus-Kashmir rhetoric than on issues directly affecting the public. The Assembly witnessed uproar over the cancellation of the December 5 holiday commemorating the birth anniversary of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, founder and leader of the National Conference. During the proceedings, questions were also raised over the continuation of the holiday marking the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, with demands for its cancellation as well. Reacting to the developments, Raina said people elect legislators with the expectation that their problems will be raised in the Assembly, debated and followed by concrete efforts to find solutions. He questioned why legislators were engaging in political confrontation instead of using the Assembly to bring resolutions on issues affecting ordinary citizens. Raina also expressed concern over what he described as increasing Jammu-versus-Kashmir rhetoric inside the House. He said issues surrounding Article 370 and Article 35A should not overshadow the pressing concerns for which people expect their elected representatives to work. According to Raina, the Assembly should give greater attention to unemployment, vacant posts in the health sector, shortage of doctors and paramedical staff, and vacancies in educational institutions. He alleged that thousands of posts remain vacant across different departments and questioned whether the government has a clear long-term strategy to address unemployment and staffing shortages, particularly in healthcare and education. Raina said every MLA should use the Assembly platform to highlight problems faced by people in their respective constituencies and seek practical solutions. He also referred to earlier Assemblies, saying that, in his view, legislators had maintained greater decorum and devoted more attention to government programmes, policies and public welfare. He alleged that over the past two years, both the government and the opposition had not demonstrated sufficient focus on programmes aimed at resolving people's day-to-day problems. Raina questioned the purpose of electing legislators if the Assembly does not adequately debate and address issues affecting ordinary citizens.0

इकरा हसन का मसूद पर पलटवार, यूपी गठबंधन पर राजनीतिक तकरार तेज
