A young YouTuber from reportedly died by suicide due to emotional stress from long time, following a failed relationship. Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, Komali, a student who was also active as a YouTuber native of Vishakapatnam AP, died by suicide at her residence in Manikonda’s Chitrapuri Colony. According to reports, Komali(21) had been in a relationship with fellow YouTuber and software professional Akhil Reddy. However, due to differences between them, the couple broke up about a year ago. Komali, who was staying at her uncle’s house in Chitrapuri Colony, was pursuing BSc at Malla Reddy University while also creating YouTube videos part-time. Despite the breakup, she was said to be deeply distressed over the separation. Family members had earlier saved her when she allegedly attempted suicide in the past following emotional distress related to the relationship. Before suicide, Komali reportedly contacted Akhil Reddy over the phone, and an argument ensued between them. Police said she was emotionally disturbed after the conversation. On Monday, the 23rd of this month, when no one was at home, Komali allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a saree. According to police, Komali sent a message to her mother, B Satya Varalakshmi, who works in Kuwait, in the early hours of Monday saying, "I love you mummy so much" and asking her to take care of her younger brother. Upon receiving information, Raidurgam police reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for postmortem examination. A case has been registered, and Raidurgam police have initiated an investigation.
