“All major tourist destinations across Jammu and Kashmir remain open even during the snowfall season. In such a situation, keeping Doodhpathri, Yousmarg and Tosamaidan closed is completely unfair,” said Jagmohan Singh Raina, Chairman of the All Party Sikh Coordination Committee. He said the continued closure of these tourist spots has severely affected local livelihoods. People dependent on tourism are suffering badly, economic conditions are deteriorating, and daily earners are struggling to survive. Raina urged the administration to immediately review the decision and reopen these destinations to provide relief to the local population and revive the rural tourism economy.
