SDRF Conducts Emergency Training Camp for Volunteers in Chitternar Bandipora Anchor:- The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), in collaboration with Bandipora Volunteers, organized a one-day emergency training camp at Chitternar, Bandipora, aimed at equipping local volunteers with essential disaster management skills. A large number of volunteers from the area actively participated in the camp. During the session, SDRF experts provided hands-on training to participants on responding effectively during emergencies and natural calamities such as earthquakes, floods, and heavy snowfall. The volunteers were also trained in rescue operations, first aid, and emergency management techniques through practical demonstrations. Speaking to the media, Social activity and head of Bandipora Volunteers, Inam-ul-Haq, expressed gratitude to the SDRF team, particularly DySP (DAR) Bandipora, for organizing the crucial training event. He stated, “Such initiatives play a vital role in fostering a spirit of service and raising awareness among youth about community safety and disaster preparedness.” Local residents appreciated the initiative and hoped that similar training programs would continue in the future to strengthen community resilience in times of crisis.
