Ganderbal, Oct 1: Maha Navami was celebrated with great religious fervor and enthusiasm at the Kheer Bhawani Temple in Tullamulla, Ganderbal, today. Devotees from across the Valley, particularly members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, thronged the temple to participate in the traditional rituals and offer prayers. The devotees performed the sacred rituals associated with the festival, which holds immense spiritual significance. Hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits offered prayers at the temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and harmony for Jammu and Kashmir. Expressing their emotions, one of the devotees said, “We feel blessed to be at Kheer Bhawani on the occasion of Maha Navami. Celebrating this sacred festival here gives us immense happiness and inner peace.” The district administration had made special arrangements for the devotees to ensure the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
