Sub Divisional Administration Gulmarg Observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with Patriotic Zeal Gulmarg, Oct 31: The Sub Divisional Administration Gulmarg, headed by SDM Gulmarg Mir Jaleel Ahmad, celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great patriotic fervour to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials of various departments, along with students from different schools and colleges of the subdivision. SDM Gulmarg Mir Jaleel Ahmad presided over the function as the Chief Guest. On the occasion, a pledge for national unity was administered, and heartfelt tributes were paid to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for his invaluable contribution towards strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation. A Run for Unity was also organised from the Sports Ground Kunzer to Batpora Kunzer, which saw the participation of hundreds of students, government employees, and members of civil and police administration. Among the dignitaries present were Tehsildar Tangmarg/Kunzer, SDPO Gulmarg, DSP Kunzer (SOG), SHOs of Tangmarg and Kunzer, BMO Kunzer, ZEO Tangmarg/Kunzer, EO Tangmarg/Gulmarg, and other senior officers.
