Ganderbal — MLA Kangan Mehar Ali said that last year’s major event, the Winter Festival in Sonamarg, was organised by Satish Sharma and turned out to be highly successful. Speaking about this year’s arrangements, the MLA said the government is fully prepared on all fronts, including water supply, power supply, and other essential services. “There is no shortage of anything from our side. The only thing needed now is snowfall, and it will come. We hope this season will be even better than the previous one, and everyone is working with that hope while waiting for the snow,” he said. He further added that during the previous review meeting, he also spoke to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who directed that all arrangements should be executed in the best possible manner.
