District Police Ganderbal today observed Constitution Day 2025 with solemnity, enthusiasm, and a renewed pledge to uphold the guiding principles of the Indian Constitution. The commemorative event was organised across all police establishments of the district, reaffirming the force’s dedication to constitutional duties and democratic values. The main ceremony was held at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal, where SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS, accompanied by other senior Police Officers of the District administered the Constitutional Oath to officers and officials. Addressing the gathering, SSP Ganderbal emphasized the importance of adhering to the constitutional ethos and urged all personnel to uphold justice, equality, and integrity in every sphere of policing. He impressed upon officers to ensure that the mandate of the Constitution is implemented in letter and spirit while delivering public service. Similar oath-taking ceremonies were conducted at all Police Stations, Posts, and Units across the district, where senior officers led Police personnel in reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values. SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS affirmed that J&K Police will continue to work tirelessly to strengthen democratic ideals, safeguard the rights of citizens, and uphold the rule of law in the district.
