Budgam Shiv Mandir: Kashmiri Pandits Celebrate Janmashtami with Kashmiri Muslims Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion at the historic Shiv Mandir in Budgam district, where Kashmiri Pandits, including those who had travelled from Jammu and Delhi, gathered to perform special puja. In a heartwarming display of harmony, Kashmiri Muslims also participated in the celebrations, reviving the centuries-old tradition of togetherness. Just as in the past, local Muslims made arrangements for the rituals and warmly welcomed the devotees with traditional Kashmiri kehwa.
