Five people died and 12 others were injured when a passenger double-decker bus overturned in Karol Bagh, Delhi, on Tuesday night near Jhandewalan Hanuman Temple. The bus overturned under the metro line. Police and fire brigade teams arrived at the scene. The overturned bus was straightened using a crane. The injured were admitted to hospital. Families of the injured and deceased have been informed. The cause is believed to be high speed; the speeding bus reached under the metro line and lost control. The accident was horrific; five people died on the spot. The injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the mortuary.
