State President of SBSP, Vivek Bali, expressed serious concerns over the government’s slow progress in flood rehabilitation activities in Jammu & Kashmir. He stated that the damage assessment teams are still unprepared despite the severe losses suffered by the region. Bali urged that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) teams should be actively engaged on the ground for proper evaluation of the destruction. He emphasized that every poor person and victim must be duly accounted for in the relief measures to ensure no one is left behind. It is also anticipated that the Prime Minister of India is likely to visit Jammu & Kashmir soon to personally assess the flood-related damages and supervise relief efforts. Bali called for urgent and transparent action to provide timely relief to the affected population.
