Nasarli district BJP internal dispute surfaces with the announcement of names of district BJP office-bearers. In Jalalpore taluka, 4 newly appointed office-bearers reached the district BJP office and placed their resignations on the table of the district BJP president. Loyal workers argued that the party should stand by veterans, but dissatisfaction persisted. The district BJP leadership had planned to announce the district BJP structure at the beginning of February, but the issue of the secretaryship for the district chief position caused delays. There was talk of contention for the posts of secretary from Jalalpore taluka, causing unrest among workers when the final list did not favor Jalalpore. Newly appointed vice-president, secretary, and presidents of the Bakshipanch and Kisan Morcha submitted their resignations to the district BJP president’s table. The four leaders affirmed their commitment as loyal workers of the party, but cited years of injustice toward Jalalpore taluka as the reason for offering their resignations. When they reached the district BJP office, no officer was present, so they spoke to the district BJP president Bhuralal Shah and expressed their intent to resign from the positions they had just received. The district president attempted to persuade them, but since no one came to receive their resignations, they insisted on submitting them on the president’s table. The district BJP leadership did not oppose this, and the resignations were placed on the table. The four leaders stated their desire to continue serving as loyal party workers, though they believed injustice toward Jalalpore taluka had compelled them to resign.
