The poisoned goats fell ill and within a short time two goats died. Of the two dead goats, one was pregnant. In response, the goat owner came to the Kotwali police station on Tuesday noon to file a written complaint. He alleges that due to the neighbour’s negligence, one of the family’s main sources of income—his goats—died. Locals say strict action is needed to prevent such incidents from recurring. Animal-loving organisations have also condemned the incident and urged strict law enforcement.
