GJM All Parties Meeting 5 Parties Had Attend Out Of 12 , Decision Taken When Interlocutor Come One Demand Will Be Placed To Him That Is Gorkhaland In the all-party meeting held here at Darjeeling those present in it has decided to move forward with “one voice one agenda of Gorkhaland” when the central government appointed interlocutor visits the Hills. The meeting called by the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha was to gather consensus, ahead of the visit of the interlocutor who has been assigned to examine the long standing political and administrative issues of the Gorkha community. Speaking after the meeting, the Morcha general secretary Roshan Giri said that they had decided to raise the issue of Gorkhaland state in one voice when the interlocutor visits here. He however said that theinterlocutor would also talk with the state government and otherstakeholders who will put forward their own opinions, but they would raise the issue of Gorkhaland with him. Giri also added that the areas of Terrai and Dooars should not be left out while maintaining that they will also hold a similar meeting with the stakeholders of Terrai and Dooars regarding this issue. From the different parties invited by the Morcha to this meeting at GDNS here. political outfits like the BJP, Communist Party of Revolutionar y Marxist, Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League, Gorkhaland Rashtriya Nirman Morcha, SUMETI Mukti Morcha along with the Gorkha Rashtriya Congress were present in the meeting. However, the Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha (BGPM), TMC, Indian Gorkha Janshakti Front (IGJF), Congress, CPIM and the Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) did not attend it. The IGJF has on Saturday expressed their unavailability today citing reasons of a program at Ringtong today while according to Giri the GNLF today had a central committee meeting today. Parties like the BGPM have already made their stand clear earlier on regarding the appointment of an interlocutor alleging that it was a political stunt ahead of the polls to be held next year. He also urged the interlocutor to meet the Gorkha J anjati Mahasnagh and the All India Scheduled Cast Association as they also had their demands. Giri criticized those parties that did not attend the meeting, maintaining that they were not eager for a solution for this area and only wanted to do politics. He alleged that they were content in running a mini developmental agency like GTA which had no status. He said that when the central government by the step of appointing an interlocutor was showing a positive outlook these parties were not active.
