Southern and South-Eastern Kolkata: • Jodhpur Park, Garia, Golf Green: These areas have been severely affected by waterlogging. Jodhpur Park and Golf Green have reported significant water accumulation, causing traffic to come to a near standstill.  • Behala: Large parts of Behala are waterlogged, compounding existing traffic issues caused by ongoing road repairs for a drainage project. • Ballygunge and Kalighat: These areas have recorded a high amount of rainfall, leading to widespread inundation of streets and neighborhoods. Eastern Kolkata and EM Bypass: • Chingrighata and Dhapa: These areas are known to be prone to waterlogging and are currently experiencing heavy traffic congestion due to submerged roads. • Topsia: This area, which falls under the Topsia drainage pumping station's jurisdiction, has been hit hard, with waterlogging severely affecting traffic on connecting roads. • EM Bypass: Waterlogging has been reported in various stretches of the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, particularly around the Ruby crossing, causing major delays for commuters.  Central Kolkata: • Mominpur, Palmer Bazar, and Tangra: These areas have recorded very high rainfall and are facing severe waterlogging, which is paralyzing traffic movement.  • Central Avenue: This major arterial road is experiencing waterlogging, which is affecting commuters and shoppers alike. • Park Circus: The area around the 7-point crossing is a significant bottleneck, with traffic getting stalled due to the waterlogged streets.  Northern Kolkata: • Ultadanga and Shyambazar: These areas are also experiencing waterlogging, which is slowing down traffic and causing distress for daily commuters. • Thanthania: Even in North Kolkata, Thanthania has reported a significant amount of rainfall, leading to waterlogged roads.
