Smart Cards/Tourist Smart Cards or book tickets through *'AAMAR KOLKATA METRO'* app to avoid rush at the booking counters. Buy QR Based Mobile Tickets before reaching the Metro station. At certain Metro stations paper QR tickets will also be issued from the Hand Held Terminals. Tourist Smart Cards have already been made available at the booking counters of Metro Railway stations. The travelers/visitors may buy these Tourist Smart Cards having facility of unlimited travel for 3 to 5 days so that they can skip booking counters and thereby save their valuable time and money. As there will be large number of services for commuters at an interval of 6, 7 and 8 minutes in Blue Line and Green Line during the peak hours, the commuters are requested not to overcrowd the train or not try to block the doors.
