Noida, Uttar Pradesh:A/L:- ਸ਼ਾਹਕੋਟ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ... ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲੁੱਟਾਂ-ਖੋਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਰਦਾਤਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲੀ-ਸਿੱਕਾ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। V/o:- ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰਕ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 23 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਮ ਨਗਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ-ਮਰੀਨ ਫ਼ੀਲਡ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈੱਸਵੇ ’ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੋਕ ’ਤੇ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੁੱਟਖੋਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਨ ’ਤੇ ਸੁਪਰਵਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਓਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਇਆ। ਤਫ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਸਿੱਪੀ, ਜੋਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ, ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਲਾਡੀ, ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਲੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ। ਅੱਜ ਖ਼ੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਸੂਚਨਾ ’ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਹਕੋਟ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜੋਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ’ਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਾਬੂ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਹਕੋਟ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। Byte:- SSP Harvinder Singh virk

CAQM की बैठक: पंजाब-हरियाणा में धान स्टब बर्निंग पर ‘जीरो’ लक्ष्य तय

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:In continuation of its sustained efforts to abate paddy stubble burning incidents in the region, the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM), under the Chairmanship of Shri Rajesh Verma, Chairperson and in the presence of Members and Officials of the Commission, held two significant review meetings on 25.09.2025 with Senior officers of various concerned departments, District Magistrates (DMs)/ Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and SSPs from 23 Districts of Punjab and on 26.09.2025 with Senior officers of various concerned departments, DMs/ DCs and senior police officers from 22 Districts of Haryana, respectively. The review focused on the preparedness of both the States for the paddy harvesting season 2025 in compliance with the Commission's Directions 90 and 92 which mandate effective in-situ and ex-situ crop residue management, eliminating paddy stubble burning in hotspot Districts for monitoring and actions being undertaken by the States of Punjab and Haryana. Further, Flying Squad teams will be deputed in the States of Punjab and Haryana for monitoring progress at field level in the hotspot Districts. The State Governments were requested to direct all concerned in the district administration to facilitate the Flying Squads and provide them with updated status from time to time. It was highlighted that the CAQM Cell has been established at Kheti Bhawan, SAS Nagar (Mohali) which will monitor paddy stubble management and pollution activities to facilitate Inter-State coordination between Punjab and Haryana. The Commission urged close cooperation with the Cell to accelerate on-ground action with continuous monitoring and vigil. Detailed presentations were made by both States on the implementation of their respective. State Action Plans for 2025. After extensive deliberations, the following action points were directed by the Chairperson, CAQM to address the issue of stubble burning and diversification of agricultural practices: Action Points for Punjab Identify and bridge gaps in in-situ management measures, including availability of CRM machinery, and ex-situ utilization through strengthened supply chain applications to ensure that surplus paddy residue is fully managed. It was suggested to develop a State level strategy requiring coordination with adjoining districts for inter district movement of balers. The State Government was directed to ensure supply of balers and CRM on time and mobilize them, based on harvesting pattern. The State will intensify vigilance through the 'Parali Protection Force', including extensive evening patrolling by officers to identify burning events and take strict enforcement measures for implementing a robust Crop Residue Management (CRM) regime for needy farmers. The issues of pest infected areas (Dwarfism pest and Yellow rust in paddy), addressing silted and water logged areas highlighted during the meeting and directed the State to develop a plan to address these issues to avoid burning activities. Accelerate biomass co-firing in Thermal Power Plants, to achieve the co-firing target of 5% and efforts to promote the use of paddy straw in power generation. Coordinate closely with the CAQM Cell for real-time monitoring and round-the-year management of paddy residue. Action Points for Haryana Identify and bridge gaps in in-situ management measures, including availability of CRM machinery, and ex-situ utilization through strengthened supply chain applications to ensure that surplus paddy residue is fully managed. The State shall review the gaps in the CRM machinery and send proposals for the additional machines as per requirement. Develop State level strategy for the coordination of the stubble management across neighboring districts to ensure robust supply chain and ex-situ utilization of paddy residue in various applications. HSPCB to have separate meetings with District level administration for robust supply chain management and micro level planning. The State Government shall ensure supply of balers and CRM on time and mobilize them based on harvesting pattern. The State shall intensify vigilance through the 'Parali Protection Force', including extensive evening patrolling by the officers to identify the burning events. The State shall make provisions for storage of the Bales and take all the necessary precautions to prevent fires in storage facilities. Training and capacity building of the farmers and stakeholders to be conducted for storage and prevention of fires. Adequate insurance options to be made available to farmers and aggregators. The State Government must ensure that any farmer who resorts to stubble burning shall not be given incentivization impose penal actions. In addition to Stubble Burning, the State shall sensitize the ULBs/DCs about the critical issue of open burning of MSW/Biomass in urban areas. They shall ensure compliance with Direction 91 of the Commission for prevention of open burning of MSW/Biomass etc. While appreciating the efforts and arrangements made so far by both the States, CAQM reiterated that zero stubble burning during the upcoming season is non-negotiable and directed all district administrations to enforce statutory measures both incentives and deterrence. The long-term aim is to make an ecosystem for self-propelled stubble management system which adequately provides benefits to farmers. The Commission will conduct frequent and intensive reviews to monitor progress and ensure strict implementation of the approved Action Plans. CAQM calls upon all stakeholders, including farmers and citizens, to work in close coordination with the Government agencies to achieve the shared goal of clean air for the NCR and Adjoining Areas.

हिमाचल हाईकोर्ट: जियालाल भारद्वाज और रोमेश वर्मा न्यायधीश बने

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh:वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता जियालाल भारद्वाज और रोमेश वर्मा हिमाचल प्रदेश हाईकोर्ट के न्यायाधीश बन गए हैं। सर्वोच्च न्यायालय कॉलेजियम ने 15 सितंबर को आयोजित बैठक में हिमाचल प्रदेश हाईकोर्ट के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता जियालाल भारद्वाज और वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता रोमेश वर्मा को हिमाचल प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी थी। अब इस प्रस्ताव को राष्ट्रपति की मंजूरी मिल गई है। जियालाल जिला सोलन के अर्की से संबंध रखते हैं। वहीं, रोमेश वर्मा जिला शिमला के सुन्नी से संबंध रखते हैं।

लुधियाना के शिव जी नगर में आवारा कुत्तों ने महिला का पैर नोचा

Ludhiana, Punjab:लुधियाना में आवारा कुत्तों का आतंक:घर के बाहर बैठी महिला का पैर नोचा, पार्षद पति बोले-20 से अधिक लोगों को काट चुके ,आवारा कूतो को नगर निगम ने काबू किया लुधियाना में शिवा जी नगर इलाके में कुत्तों ने खूब आंतक मचाया हुआ है। आवारा कुत्ते पिछले दो दिनों राहगीर 20 से 25 लोगों को काट चुके हैं। इनमें से कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो इलाके के नहीं है और बाहरी हैं। कुत्ते के काटने घटनाओं को बाद लोगों में डर बना हुआ है। इलाके की कई सीसीटीवी वीडियो भी सामने आई है, जिसमें कुत्ते बच्चे और स्कूटी सवार व्यक्ति पर अटैक करते नजर आए। एक महिला का पैर तो कुत्ते ने बुरी तरह से नोच डाला। जानकारी देते हुए घायल महिला ने बताया कि वह पहले घर के अंदर बैठी थी, लेकिन उसका मन घबराने लगा जिस कारण वह गली में आकर बैठ गई। तभी अचानक एक कुत्ता आया और उस पर अटैक कर दिया। कुत्ते ने उसकी टांग बुरी तरह से नोच ली। किरन ने कहा कि जिस कुत्ते ने काटा है उसे मोहल्ले में पहली बार देखा है। प्रशासन से मांग है कि इन कुत्तों को मोहल्ले से उठाया जाए। अभी तक 20 से 25 लोगों को कुत्ते काट चुके हैं। इलाका निवासी ने कहा कि अभी तक न्यू शिवा जी नगर में 9 से 10 लोगों को कुत्तों ने काटा है। खुंखार कुत्तों की समस्या को लेकर पार्षद पति सिमरजीत सिंह को सूचना दी। उन्होंने निगम प्रशासन को शिकायत दी जिसके बाद आज निगम की टीमों ने काफी कुत्तों को पकड़ा है। इलाके के हालात यह बन गए है कि लोग घरों से बाहर निकलने से डर रहे हैं। Byte इलाका काउंसलर का पति

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:21st Instalment of PM-KISAN released by union Agriculture Minister to Farmers of Rain and Flood Affected States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand via Video Conferencing More than Rs 540 Crore transferred to over 27 lakh Farmers in the three States New The release of the 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme was declared today by the Hon’ble union Agriculture Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, through video conferencing. This instalment has been specially prioritised for the farmers of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand who have been severely affected by recent floods and landslides. Hon’ble Agriculture Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior officials of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, along with representatives of farmer groups also joined the event virtually. The three States have recently faced severe floods, landslides, and widespread crop losses, causing immense hardship to farming families. In this context, today’s release of PM-KISAN assumes even greater importance. A total of more than ₹540 crore has been directly transferred into the bank accounts of over 27 lakh farmers, including around 2.7 lakh women farmers, across the three States. This support aims to provide timely relief to farmers as they work to recover from the recent calamities. During the event, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to stand by farmers in every situation. He highlighted that the instalment of ₹2,000 will help farmers meet immediate household needs, procure seeds and fertilizers for the next sowing cycle, and restore their confidence to resume cultivation. He emphasized that beyond financial support, this instalment is a reassurance that the Government cares for every farmer and no one will be left behind in their struggle against natural adversities. The Agriculture Minister also recalled the visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to the flood-affected areas earlier this month, where he announced comprehensive relief measures including financial assistance of ₹1500 crore, ₹1600 crore, and ₹1200 crore for Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand respectively, in addition to ex-gratia for families of the deceased and the injured, as well as support under the PM CARES for Children scheme. The release of the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN builds on these measures and reflects the Government’s resolve to extend timely help to farming families in their hour of need. With this release, the cumulative disbursement under PM-KISAN to the three States has crossed ₹13,626 crore since the launch of the scheme on 24th February 2019. Noida, Uttar Pradesh:ਸੂਚਨਾ ਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਗਦਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪੱਤਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ/ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 26 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਸੰਤ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਬਗਦਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ 1511 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਰਾਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਗਦਾਦ ਗਏ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ-ਇਰਾਕ ਜੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਲੇਵਾ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਸਰ-ਰਸੂਖ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਰਾਕ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਲੀਡਰ ਸੱਯਦ ਅਲੀ ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਖਮੇਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਮੁੜ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ 23 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1990 ਨੂੰ ਇਰਾਕ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਸੁਦਾਮ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜ਼ਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਰਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਟੈਲੀਫੋਨ ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਢਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸੰਤ ਸੀਚੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਿਆ ਹੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਰਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਰਸ਼ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਰਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਿੰਤਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੁਣ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਰਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਰਾਕ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੁੜ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

हimachal में बैग फ्री डे: 11वीं-12वीं को मोबाइल लाने की मिली राहत

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh:हिमाचल प्रदेश शिक्षा विभाग ने एक अहम फ़ैसला लिया है. विभाग की ओर से जारी आदेशों के मुताबिक, बैग फ़्री डे पर ग्यारहवीं और बारहवीं के बच्चों को स्कूल में मोबाइल लाने की अनुमति होगी. ऐसा JEE और NEET की प्रवेश परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं की सुविधा के लिए किया गया है. विभाग की ओर से यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि सिर्फ़ बैग फ़्री डे पर ही छात्र-छात्राएं स्कूल में मोबाइल फ़ोन ला सकेंगे. इससे पहले अपने एक आदेश में विभाग की ओर से क्लास के दौरान शिक्षकों और स्कूल के दौरान बच्चों के मोबाइल इस्तेमाल पर रोक लगायी गई थी.
