In a major breakthrough, State Special Operation Cell (#SSOC), Amritsar busts a gangster module by arresting four members and recover two sophisticated weapons from their possession. Preliminary investigation reveals that the arrested accused are working on the directions of a #Portugal-based wanted gangster, who arranges the delivery of the recovered weapons. The module conducted recce of specific targets in #Batala & #Amritsar areas with plans to execute targeted attacks. Recovery: 1 Glock 9mm pistol with magazine & 5 live cartridges and 1 Star mark .30 bore pistol with magazine & 3 live cartridges. Efforts are underway to trace backward and forward linkages and to facilitate extradition of the foreign-based handler with the assistance of Interpol.
