BSF Foils Smuggling Bid: Nabs 3 with Heroin in Amritsar On 23 Sept 2025, alert #BSF troops deployed on Amritsar border apprehended 03 Indian narco-smugglers during late night ambush. The delinquents, residents of villages Pandori and Dhanoe Khurd, were intercepted while moving on a motorcycle during odd hours. Initial questioning revealed their involvement in cross-border drug smuggling and 01 mobile phone having suspicious foreign contacts and a bike were seized from their possession. Later, based on their disclosure, a big packet of suspected heroin having gross weight 3.373 Kgs was recovered from nearby area. The watchful and swift action by BSF troops averted a major narcotics smuggling attempt on Amritsar border.
