Tourism Industry In Darjeeling Hills Has Been Effected By Disaster, Very Few Tourist Are Coming Tourism Are Saying We Don't Facing Problem In Darjeeling Hills Alternative Route Is Open , No Fear Of Any Thing Darjeeling which is one of the famous destination for the Tourist from entire World , and during the Oct and Nov months it is the Tourist Season as this is the festival season for which the tourist comes from different part of the country to enjoy their vacation in Hilly Station . Till the 4th Oct 2025 Tourist Season was almost good and tourist in the Darjeeling are enjoying their Dugra Puja vacation in the Hotel or in the Home Stay. But in 5th Oct Morning it was seen that inany part if the Hills the Niger Landslide had been occur. And it was the biggest Disaster of the Hills. Many Bridge had been collapes and around 21 Life had been take out by the Landslide. By which the Panic was came on the Tourist those who are in the hills they thought that they can't go back due to Landslide and all the route was closed. And in Tabakoshi and some of the other rural Home Stay the tourist was blocked due to road washout. But within 24 Hours all the Tourist was brough out in the safe area and after that on same day they was Sanded to Siliguri safely. But the panic was still in the Tourist and throw who wants to come to Darjeeling they also canceled their trip . By which the Tourism Industry is in lost. Where as Darjeeling is depended in Tourism and they run their family by this only. During the Tourist Season Mall (Chowrastha) which is the main place to relax it is crowed but now a days it is Empty. But the tourist those who are coming in Darjeeling they saying that they don't Face Any problem during their journey they came Safely the Alternative Route is open NH110 or Pankhabari only the Rohini Road is closed. An also the Mirik Road that is also from Siliguri but from Darjeeling they can go and come back out from Mirik.
