Noida, Uttar Pradesh:DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range Reviews Security and Operational Preparedness at Shiv Khori Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur-Reasi Range, Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS), conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements and operational preparedness at key locations including Ransoo, Shiv Khori, and Pouni. During the visit, the DIG inspected the functioning and readiness of the Special Operations Group (SOG), local Police Stations, and CRPF units deployed in the area. He assessed the overall security grid and ensured that all necessary measures are in place for the safety and smooth conduct of the ongoing yatra. DIG also interacted with pilgrims visiting the holy Shiv Khori shrine and took feedback regarding facilities and security arrangements. He directed the officers on ground to maintain high alertness, ensure effective coordination among agencies, and provide all possible assistance to the yatris. The DIG further reviewed security infrastructure including X-ray baggage scanning systems, CCTV surveillance and control room operations. He also inspected key public areas such as the market, bus stand, yatra parchi counter, Kanda More, and Jandi More. Emphasis was laid on maintaining strict vigilance, improving response mechanisms, and ensuring a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage experience for all devotees.0
