Patriotic zeal, great enthusiasm and national spirit marked 78th Independence Day at Kishtear

The revered annual yatra of Shri Ashtadash Bhuja Mata Sarthal Devi Ji started in Kishtwar. The event began with a grand hawan ceremony held at Gori Shankar Mandir in Sarkoot, marking the beginning of this joyous and spiritually significant occasion.

A large landslide, caught on camera, has blocked the Kishtwar-Padder road. Several pilgrims heading to Machail Mata and Mindal Mata shrines are now stranded. Officials estimate that road clearance efforts will take several days to complete.
