Sadar MLA Protests as Kidnapped Mohit Yadav Remains Missing

Samajwadi Party MLAs Mahendra Nath Yadav and Rajendra Chaudhary started a sit-in at Shastri Chowk after the Basti SP's 12-hour deadline passed. They demand quick recovery of kidnapped Mohit Yadav. Police are trying to end the fast, while Mahendra Nath Yadav accuses them of ruling party pressure. The administration works to resolve tensions over the unsolved case.

Senior Congress leader and MLC Jeevan Reddy from Karimnagar has expressed his anger towards the Telangana Congress leadership and CM Revanth Reddy. He is unhappy about the inclusion of BRS MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar into the Congress without consulting senior party leaders.

In a closely contested election between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress in Telangana, exit poll results published after the final phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, June 1, indicate a tie. According to the ABP-CVoter exit poll, both parties are expected to win seven to nine seats each in a fierce contest. A 45-year-old man named Suresh from Hyderabad has been missing for 12 days after visiting Banaras for darshan on June 25. His son Vignesh reported that Suresh had called home saying he was being chased by miscreants. The family advised him to go to the nearest police station. Suresh reportedly went to Sigra police station but has been untraceable since then. The family alleges police negligence in handling the case, nearly 2 weeks passing since his disappearance.
