7 year old Basit Afroz Khan drowned to death at Hariwani area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam and his sister Zainab Afroz hospitalized after both of them fell into a water trench

Minor Drowns to Death in Hariwani, Khansahib; Sister Critical Khansahib, Budgam | June 19, 2025 In a tragic incident reported from the Hariwani area of Khansahib in district Budgam, a 7-year-old boy, Basit Afroz Khan, lost his life after drowning in a water trench on Wednesday. His younger sister, Zainab Afroz Khan, aged 5, also fell into the trench and is reported to be in critical condition.
