Bijbehara, Nov 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party faced a setback after government denied permission for its proposed signature campaign in Bijbehara, which sought the upgradation of the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara into a District Hospital. District President JK Apni Party Anantnag, Mufti Sarwar, while speaking to the media, expressed disappointment over the government’s decision. He said the campaign was purely meant to raise public issues and had no political motives. “This signature campaign was launched in the interest of the common people, not for any political purpose. Unfortunately, the government seems reluctant to address the genuine concerns of the citizens,” Mufti Sarwar said.
