Anjuna PS Cr. No. 154/2025 U/s 105, 125, 125(a), 125(b), 287 r/w 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 stands registered on 07.12.2025. During the course of investigation following accused persons are placed under arrest in the above crime. 1. Mr. Rajiv Modak s/o Nimai Chandra Modak, age 49 yrs, Occ-Corporate General Manager of Birch by Romeo Lane, Arpora, Bardez Goa. 2. Mr. Priyanshu Thakur s/o Krishnakumar Thakur, age 32 yrs Occ- Gate Manager of Birch by Romeo Lane, Arpora, Bardez Goa. 3. Mr. Rajveer Singhania S/o Rudranath Singhania, age 32 yrs, Occ- Bar Manager of Birch by Romeo Lane, Arpora, Bardez Goa. 4. Mr. Vivek Singh S/o Chandrabhan Singh, age 27 yrs, Occ- General Manager of Birch by Romeo Lane, Arpora, Bardez Goa. All four accused persons have been remanded 06 days Police Custody remand to be produce on 13.12.2025. Accused Mr. Bharat Koli S/o Sh. Karan Singh has been detained at Delhi and he is brought at Anjuna Police and being produced for remand. FSL team visited at the scene of incident and thoroughly examined the crime scene and lifted the required exhibits/material from the crime scene for further Forensic Examination. All 25 dead bodies were preserved at Goa Medical College Morgue Bambolim. Out of 25 deceased, 20 deceased are the staff of Birch by Romeo Lane and 04 deceased are Tourist from Delhi and 01 deceased is a Tourist from Karnataka. Post Mortem examination has been conducted over 21 dead bodies (16 staff and 5 Tourist) and all 21 dead bodies have been taken to their native place. Cause of Death of 19 dead bodies is certified as Cerebral and pulmonary Edema consequent to inhalation of asphyxiant gases wherein cause of death of 02 dead bodies is certified as Pulmonary and cerebral edema consequent to inhalation of asphyxiant gases in a person with desino epidermal flame burn injuries. Post mortem examination over the dead bodies of two deceased from Nepal is being carried out and family members of other two deceased from Nepal have been informed. Detail statements of Ex Member Secretary Goa State Pollution Control Board and Ex Director of Directorate of Panchayat have been recorded and Certain Government officials are being summoned for questioning in connection with the above crime. Warrant of arrest has been issued against (1) Mr. Gaurav Luthra S/o Vijay Luthra, age 44 yrs r/o A-91, 1st Floor, Gujranwala Town, Part-1 Delhi, Gujaranwala Colony, North West Delhi 110 009 (2) Mr. Saurabh Luthra s/o Vijay Luthra, age 40 yrs r/o H No. 1523, Outram Lanes, Kings Way Camp, G.T.V. Nagar, North West Delhi, Delhi 110009 and (3) Mr. Ajay Gupta S/o Ram Swaroop Gupta, R/o H. No. 12A, Tatvam Villa, Z-Block, Sector-48, South City-II, Guugram Haryana 122 018. LOC with respect of (1) Mr. Gaurav Luthra, (2) Mr. Saurabh Luthra, (3) Mr. Ajay Gupta and (4) Mr. Surinder Kumar Khosla has been opened. Mr. Roshan Redkar, Sarpanch of Village Panchayat, Arpora Nagoa has been interrogated and all the documents/registers pertaining to Sy. No. 150/0 of Village Arpora has been attached from the office of Village Panchayat Arpora Nagoa. Teams are working to apprehend the other accused involved in the crime and various teams have been formed and deputed before different Government office to procure required documents pertaining to Birge by Romeo Lane, Arpora, Bardez Goa. Meticulous and speedy investigation is being carried out in the present crime.
